Gather your flock and join us for a Thanksgiving Day tradition in Cedar Falls presented by Threshold Pace Timing and Life Expressions Photography and Photo Booths.
Threshold Pace Timing is encouraging fitness and family on this holiday with an annual race and a discounted price for families of 4 and up.
REGISTRATION:
There is a registration option for "Turkey's" of all ages including a Kids Dash for 10 and under, a 1-Mile and a chip-timed 5K Run/Walk. The 5K and 1-mile registration include a shirt.
The $5 Kids Dash includes a bib, post race food and you can add on a shirt for an additional $10.
Registration deadline to be guaranteed a shirt is November 10th.
RACE ROUTE:
This 5K Turkey Trot will begin on the South side of Big Woods and take you off the beaten path through the prairie grass and around the lake. Watch out for hay bales along the route, you can crawl over them or jump. Keep your eyes open for a turkey at the end of the route. A few lucky participants may find a turkey and can carry it across the finish line and home for the holiday.
Strollers and dogs are welcome. There is a route option that is all paved.

AWARDS:There will be awards for the 5K race for 6 age groups and overall male and female.
POST RACE:
Each registered participant can enjoy a mini pie from Try Pie after the race. Try Pie is a non-profit youth ministry and development program that engages teen girls and empowers them in life and leadership skills through meaningful work.
Finish line photos will be taken and made available at no cost courtesy of Life Expressions by Chastity Photography.
